Characteristics

RY-Packings have been proven to be robust pneumatic packings applicable to large cylinders of φ250 mm or over and press-die-cushions.
RY-Packings are recommended to be installed in combination with support rings to prevent twisting or rolling.

Remarks

  • ●Packings should be installed in the direction specified on the above schematic.
  • ●Consider adopting split grooves if one-piece groove is technically adverse.
  • ●For combination of RY-Packings and support rings, split grooves are advisable. Support rings are available upon request. Please request further information including their dimensions.
